First Respect to Art night was held together with Politem Music Studio in 1998; an activity organized as a service project by Rotaract Club of Kavaklidere. The aim of the project is to honor respectable artists of Turkey who worked with passion for classical music and to show that we didn’t and we won’t forget them. That night we gave each artist a commemorative plaque as a compliment for their presence with us.

Each artist listed above are decided by the help of our cooperation with Politem Music Studio and they received a plaque in memory of the night. After the ceremony and the concert given by opera artists, night continued with a cocktail where artists and audience had the chance to get together.
In the year 2000 we choose our theme as Jazz and held a night where the pioneers of Jazz come together.

Year 2001 witnessed our 4 th Respect to Art night. This time we brought together the composers, lyric writers and performers of Turkish Classical Music who are recognized as icons… Thanks to Hacettepe University .

As we reach year 2002, our night became a tradition of our club and also known by many citizens of Ankara . This years theme is decided as respect to Turkish Folk Music and we prepared a night in which we honored artists listed below…
